News and information for our Hillsborough community.
Hillsborough is a beautiful, leafy suburb in Auckland with many parks, reserves, beaches, walking tracks, clubs and sporting activities for children and adults of all ages.
This website shares information about our local resources, local events and hidden treasures of the neighbourhood. We'd love you to add to it by sharing your knowledge about our local community.
Here we also support two projects. The Tech for All project recycles old, unwanted computers and computer equipment and makes them available to families who otherwise would not be able to afford a home computer. Linked to that project is the establishment of HillsboroughNet - a wireless community network linked to the Internet, by linking neighbours and neighbourhoods.

We want to offer a free computer to families and members of the Hillsborough community who do not already have access to a PC in their home.
We are appealing for homes and businesses to dispose of their old computer hardware though our recycling project so that we can reuse the hardware within the Hillsborough area.
